Tanzania is not all about wildlife. There is also a slice of tropical paradise on this side of the world. In the coastal lands and towns of Zanzibar, Pemba, and Mafia, you can find some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, most extravagant diving spots, and fantastic historical experiences.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
Do not forget lightweight safari shoes or trainers, sandals, sunglasses, sun creams, insect repellent creams, a lightweight first aid kit, day pack for your cameras, rucksack for your safari gears and clothes. Of course, you will want to capture much of Tanzania’s wildlife, so don’t forget a camera, batteries, memory cards and charger (we have usb connectors to charge your mobile and camera in the car). A telephoto lens will be found useful as well as a pair of binoculars. In case you’re bringing any electrical equipment, the electricity is 220v.
Being a less known and uncrowded national park is its main attraction. It allows you to feel more integrated in the environment. This semi-arid savannah dotted by ancient baobab, acacias and isolated rocky hills is home to great animal diversity. Wild dogs, giraffes, kudus, elephants, lions, leopards cheetahs and more than 450 bird species among others. Mkomazi National Park shares border with Kenya’s vast Tsavo National Park, making common ground for migratory herds during the wet season.
Our bicycle route will meander through green hills. On our way we will find Traditional villages and tea plantations.
We will find traditional villages with amazing views y we can meet their cheerful inhabitants. We will visit Amani Nature reserve inhabited by monkeys, birds, chameleons and other endemic animals and plants. Inside the reserve we will enjoy the beauty botanic garden full of plants and flowers and do a butterfly farming tour.
Crossing the Muheza region, we head towards Pangani, a small town of fishermen and artisans located at the mouth of the Pangani River. Pangani has historical buildings of its colonial past and beautiful beaches with coconut trees, excellent for snorkeling.
Maziwe Island Marine Reserve, situated 15 nautical miles east of Pangani, has over 350 fish species, 35 genera of coral and exceptional bird-life.
We will ride by bike on quiet trails to Saadani National Park, unique Tanzania’s park which border beach where you can enjoy the paradisal beaches and watch wildlife at the same time. You will have the chance to choose between a game drives safari, guided walks safari or by boat trip on the Wami river. Dinner and overnight in Saadani.
We will ride our bike on quiet trails towards Bagamoyo town, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which was the capital of East German Germany and became a commercial port for ivory and slaves. Bagamoyo is a quiet city with some German colonial buildings still standing. Here we also offer you the opportunity to do Crocodile Farm Tour, a tour of the stone village of Bagamoyo and snorkeling to discover its corals. Dinner and overnight in Bagamoyo.
On our last stage we will ride head to Dar es-Salaam bordering the Indian Ocean coast.
